Welcome to another edition of our CT Spotlights. It's Beth here, spotlighting Olivia (aka Livybug) today.
Olivia's Sweet Shoppe Gallery
1. What made you apply for Krystal Hartley's team?
Ever since I stumbled upon her blog, I’ve been in love with her designs! I have about every freebie she’s made, LOL!
2. What are your favorite types of products to work with (you can mention specific favorites, but I'd really like to know if you are a paper addict, brushes, doodles...whatever). I {heart} brushes, paint, splatters, etc.! I have some on almost all of my pages. :)
3. When do you scrap? Naptimes, after the kids go to bed?
Usually on the weekends, but sometimes on weeknights when I have no homework.
4. What are your strengths as a CTM? Weaknesses?
Strength ~ Getting a layout done. Weakness ~ Getting it done on time. ;)
5. Show us your first page.
6. How many times do you use a product?
Twice, but if I like it a lot I may make 5+ layouts!
7. Do you scrap mainly for memory preservation or for creative fulfillment?
Both. :) I like it that I can look back one day and remember my teen years. But also I sometimes make random quirky layouts, just to have fun and be creative. :)
8. Who are some of your favorite scrappers and why?
My mom (gonewiththewind). We’re always comparing each other layouts and getting ideas. She really inspires me.
9. Are you drawn to one color more than others?
I use a variety of colors. :)
10. What software do you use?
Photoshop Elements 5.0
11. What is your current favorite layout (that you made)?
12. What's your favorite scrap trend?
Layering papers and clustering!
13. What do you "just not get?" (ex. chandeliers, owls, 3-d, etc.)
Stock photos.
14. Do you know any digi scrappers in real life?
My mom, LOL.
15. Krystal's thinking about getting a Mac. Should she? Why or why not?
Yes, so she can still scrap and chat while she’s away from home. :)
16. What's your best workflow (time management) tip when it comes to scrapbooking?
Use a template!
Olivia made this adorable layout using Krystal's "Just Because" kit. I just love how she used the elements on the pages...they work so well together to make this page look fabulous!
I made a template from her page as a special gift just for you, our wonderful readers! Download here.
Thanks for reading! Have a great weekend!
